The cyberspace era has made it possible to shorten distances in terms of both space and time. Interpersonal communication has improved noticeably, turning McLuhan's concept of the global village into a reality.
The mayor's chat allows us to converse in real time. It is my intention to use this digital initiative to draw closer to you, the citizens of Lleida, providing direct answers to your concerns. As the leader of the city council I am interested in all your proposals, suggestions and complaints, because however minor they may be, they are shared by the city.
